REFUNDS AND CARRY-OVERS
1. All refunds require a "carry-over" slip and will be treated as credits for subsequent practice or
race entry. Carry-overs may be applied to both race entry and/or practice entry.
2. A carry-over slip is required and is available from STTARS Registration Staff. No credit
will be issued without this slip. The carry-over slip must be received with payment of
balance of future entry fee to be valid. DO NOT LOSE IT - Like Cash. Non-replaceable.
3. Riders leaving the facility without having picked up their carry-over slip from the STTARS Registration Staff 
will receive no credit. Only exception to this: If rider is injured on course and leaves
via ambulance.
4. Participation in race day practice only; rider is eligible for a 100% carry-over of the second,
third, etc., entry fees. First class entry is forfeited. 
5. Non-participation in both race-day practice and the entered race(s) entitles the rider to a
100% carry-over. 
6. After participating in a race (heat race is considered a race) any additional class(s) entered but missed due to mechanical problems,
injuries, etc. may receive a 100% carry-over. Rider must follow above procedure to
secure carry-over slip.
7. Carry-overs will be honored for the calendar year (all 2008 carry-overs are good through
Dec. 2008 event). Carry-overs issued Jan. to Oct. 2008 are invalid after Dec. 2008 event.
Carry-overs issued at Nov. and Dec. 2008 events will be honored until the following
season's February 2009 event.

 RETURNED CHECKS
1. Any rider writing STTARS a "returned" check will lose all points gained at that event, and will be
subject to further disciplinary action if the "returned" check is not replaced immediately.
2. Cashier's check or money order must immediately replace returned checks; for the amount of
the retrurned check plus a $10.00 service charge.
3. A second "returned" check violation will result in the requirement for future entry fees to be paid in cash.
